2017 Permaculture Design Course and Alternative Technology Course

PDC (Permaculture Design Course) May 28 - June 10, 2017

This PDC will have a strong focus on DESIGN and HOMESTEADING. Students attending this PDC will be creating more than one design, and the design process will be integrated into the course from the beginning. Most PDCs give equal time to urban, homestead and broadacre designs. This PDC will cover all three, but urban and broadacre design will be minimized so a stronger focus can be put on homesteading.

Instructors for the course will be Tim Barker and Paul Wheaton.

Guest instructors include: Thomas J. Elpel; Hellen Atthowe; Ernie & Erica Wisner; Jacqueline Freeman; and Davin Hoyt.

Early Bird prices in effect until the end of March:

PDC: $1100 (After March price: $1400)

The PDC will be followed by an ATC (Appropriate Technology Course) June 12 - June 23, 2017

The Appropriate Technology course takes the permaculture principles to the next level by applying some crafty science and engineering to basic life essentials like hot water and water catchment. With this course, you'll cover a wide range of topics and get real life experience building the systems you'll need to live comfortably and sustainably.

Instructor: Tim Barker
