Please welcome the new Spokane Permaculture Meetup Group! The Spokane group is already having events and happenings focused on the Spokane area, and their next meetup is Saturday May 4 at 2 PM. Click here for more details about the Meetup group’s upcoming activities.

What We’re About

In this Meetup group, we learn and grow practicing the ethics of permaculture, earth care, people care, and fair share; as well as the principles of permaculture. Some of those principles are also practiced in biofarming, agroforestry, organic gardening, cover cropping, no till, regenerative agriculture, sustainable gardening, applied ecology, and agroecology. Our events will be both in person and zoom. The events will be tours, farm visits, permie blitz, seed swaps, library presentations, book talks, networking, and the list goes on. Membership requires a facial photo on your profile. Our goal is to have a fun, safe, and respectful environment for everyone.

I’m your fearless group leader, Mary Bishop. I have a Permaculture Design Certificate from Oregon State University and also have a Permaculture Consultant business, All Things Regenerative, LLC, here in the Spokane region. Have ideas on possible meetups? Please let me know. Generally, the events are free unless there is an admission for the event.

Please keep your RSVP status up to date and should you not be able to attend an event, let the group host know ASAP. Three no-show events and you will be asked to leave.
