NWPCC is entering a season of renewal. As current board terms conclude in November 2026, we’re opening space not only for board leadership, but for broader participation through working circles, teams, and project-based collaboration.

We are exploring participatory governance models — including sociocratic principles — to support clearer roles, shared decision-making, and healthier group process. Our goal is to build a structure where responsibility is distributed, communication is transparent, and initiatives can move forward without bottlenecks.

Opportunities include:

  • Board service and officer roles

  • Project-based teams (events, communications, partnerships)

  • Governance and policy development circles

  • Conflict resolution and healthy process support

  • Regional hub coordination and collaboration

Not all meaningful work needs to sit under formal nonprofit authority. Some efforts may be supported, incubated, or aligned with NWPCC without being fully governed by it. We’re creating flexible structures that allow initiative while maintaining integrity and accountability.

We’re looking for people who:

  • Care about regional permaculture networks

  • Value collaborative and participatory governance

  • Can commit to consistent engagement

  • Want to help design resilient organizational structures

If you feel called to contribute — whether through board leadership or circle participation — reach out for a conversation.
