Our next Nature Systems weekend for 2025

Saturday and Sunday, April 12-13

Does life feel crazy and chaotic these days? Are you ready to get out of town for a weekend, or even a day, of calming and grounding volunteer work on the land at Sahale with your
friends in the Goodenough Community?

Schedule – We Gather:

  • Sat and Sun mornings at 8am for breakfast
  • Start work around 9am
  • Break for lunch at 1pm
  • Then work 2-5 pm on Sat,
  • Clean up 2-3 pm on Sun.
  • There’s usually a gathering around the fireplace on Sat eve where we laugh, joke, and catch up with each other.

We provide a fresh bed with clean linens for your slumbers. The work we do may include pruning, weeding, chipping branches, cutting and/or digging blackberries. There are jobs for all skill levels, including the indoor work of food prep for ourselves. It’s usually busy and fun – lots of camaraderie and great conversations!

Please RSVP to team-lead Laura Sweany at alwaysgrowingdesign (at) gmail.com by Tues 4/8 if you plan to attend, so we can shop accordingly. Donations are always welcome, to cover the costs of food and lodging as you are able, but please don’t let a lack of funds keep you from coming. There may also be carpooling available depending on where you are coming from.
