Global Earth Repair Convergence Returns May 7-11, 2026: Tickets Now on Sale
PORT TOWNSEND, WA — The Global Earth Repair Convergence is set to return from May 7 to May 11, 2026, bringing together a worldwide community dedicated to ecological restoration and climate action. This groundbreaking hybrid event will be hosted in person at the historic Fort Worden State Park & Conference Center in Port Townsend, Washington, on the Olympic Peninsula, while simultaneously broadcasting online to thousands of participants globally. Building on the success of previous gatherings in 2019 and 2022, the 2026 Convergence aims to advance the science and practice of “Greening the Earth to Cool the Earth.” The event will feature a robust program designed to empower individuals and communities with actionable solutions for healing the planet through natural regeneration processes involving soil, plants, trees, and water.
Attendees can expect an immersive experience featuring over 150 in-person and 100 online speakers, workshops, and panels. The Convergence will host nearly 200 of the world’s leading experts in earth repair, offering insights into permaculture, reforestation, agroforestry, and oceanography. A significant highlight of the event is the large Indigenous caucus, which will center Indigenous leadership and traditional ecological knowledge in the global restoration dialogue.
In addition to expert presentations, the Convergence will offer live streams from restoration sites around the world, providing real-time examples of successful earth repair in action. The festival atmosphere will be enriched with art, music, storytelling, and hands-on activities, fostering a vibrant community of change-makers.
As the event approaches, the organizing core team is actively seeking passionate individuals to join their efforts. Specifically, the Convergence is looking to fill vital roles, including a Volunteer Coordinator and professionals to join the fundraising and admin departments. Global Earth Repair Convergence May 7-11 2026 In-person and online event The Global Earth Repair Convergence is returning to Port Townsend, bringing many of the world’s leading voices in planetary regeneration, ecosystem repair, and nature-based climate solutions to our region. This international gathering builds on the 2019 Global Earth Repair Conference at Fort Worden and the 2022 online Global Earth Repair Summit. Together, these events have helped shape a growing global movement focused on restoring ecosystems and stabilizing the climate through proven, nature-based solutions. This Convergence will bring together Indigenous leaders, Earth repair practitioners, restoration scientists, Earth defenders, and grassroots organizers working across soil regeneration, wetland restoration, land rehydration, biodiversity, ocean regeneration, agroforestry, regenerative agriculture, and more than 130 identified Earth repair solutions. The goal: to share the most effective, practical pathways for repairing ecosystems—quickly, at scale, and with benefits for people and all living systems. You are invited!
