*PLUS Special Event: MLK Day at Beacon Food Forest!January 19th, 2026 9am-1pm Another stewardship opportunity on Monday 1/19 (drop-in welcome!) to care for the Forest and build the dream of public food access on public land for the Beloved Community in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Tasks may include planting new plants, digging, weeding, mulching and working the land. No experience necessary! We have the tools and the gloves, dress for the weather and bring a water bottle. |
