Youth Voices of Mason County
June 15, 2026 • Shelton, Washington

What do young people want community leaders to know about the future?

Join Youth Voices of Mason County for a panel featuring local youth leaders ages 11–19 sharing their perspectives, concerns, and ideas for creating a brighter future. Organized by Mason County Climate Justice and led by youth organizers, this non-partisan event invites community members, elected officials, and organizations to listen, learn, and engage with the next generation.

The event is free and open to all. Community sponsorships are also welcome to help support youth panelists, interpretation services, and a shared community meal.

Come with open ears and encouragement for youth voices.

Dinner and refreshments provided. For questions, please email khirstie@masoncountyclimatejustice.org

Mason Climate Youth June 15 2026

Hello!

My name is Anderson, and I am Mason County Climate Justice’s high school intern. I am 17 years old. When I proposed the idea of a youth-run youth panel for local politicians and community members to hear the struggles and ideas of young people, Mason County Climate Justice jumped at the opportunity to make my idea into a reality. After 2 months of planning, the date is finally coming up soon!

I invite you to attend and potentially sponsor this non-partisan event for young people to feel heard by their local community.

As Mason County’s next generation of leaders, we youth of Mason County have critical perspectives on what to prioritize in politics and policies to create a brighter future for us all. We want to share our ideas with you! Join us to hear collective wisdom directly from youth ages 11 to 19. Free and open to all.

Please come with open ears and encouragement for youth voices.

Hope to see you there,
Anderson
