Jan Spencer will conduct four online seminars in May on his “Primer For Paradigm Shift”. The seminar series will be on four successive Saturdays, May 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th, from 9 AM to Noon Pacific Time. You can join the seminar online or find out more information by clicking here.

The four parts of the seminar series are

  1. May 4, Economics – Myths of capitalism, external costs, cargo cult, many symptoms
  2. May 11, Aspects of Paradigm Shift – Downsize, prioritize time and money, permaculture
  3. May 18, Real Life Examples – Suburban permaculture, eco villages, empower youth, invest local
  4. May 25, Taking Paradigm Shift To A Wider Audience – The same team, the movement already here

The term “Paradigm shift” as used in the seminar means moving towards a lifestyle and society where

  • humans live within the boundaries of the natural world,
  • encouraging positive human potential is a primary ideal,
  • society will be served by an honest and accountable economic system.

Humanity is overdue for a change of course, and the Primer is here to help! This seminar series will cover how to use several key principles:

  • This Paradigm shift includes both social uplift and a sustainable environment.
  • There is no need to wait for this paradigm shift — many people are already engaged!
  • The primer will show and tell many of the pioneers.
  • One of our first tasks is to prioritize our own time and money and use a lot less stuff. Many products and aspects of lifestyles we are familiar with will not make the cut!
