Are you ready to share permaculture more effectively with your community?
The Online Permaculture Teacher Training offers an interactive learning experience designed to strengthen teaching skills, build confidence, and explore creative ways to bring permaculture principles and strategies to a wide range of audiences and educational settings.
Participants will watch recorded modules (approximately 40 minutes each) before the live Saturday Zoom sessions, held from 8 am–12 pm PST. These sessions focus on group discussion, interactive learning, and co-teaching practice. Participants become co-facilitators of the course, gaining hands-on experience preparing and presenting educational material.
Class size is limited to 10 participants.

Teaching Through Experience
This course explores diverse teaching modalities, including:
- Effective lectures and presentations
- Storytelling techniques
- Small group activities
- Interactive experiential learning
- Visual teaching tools
- Hands-on educational approaches
Participants practice preparing and co-teaching a variety of presentations while developing the skills needed to share permaculture in many settings, including:
- Workshops
- Permaculture Design Courses (PDCs)
- Libraries
- Schools
- Community gatherings and other educational venues
This educational experience is intentionally small, creating space for deeper connections, meaningful feedback, and supportive learning. The program includes 10 online participants and 14 in-person participants.
Teacher Trainings as a Path Toward Right Livelihood
Permaculture education can be a powerful pathway for sharing knowledge, strengthening communities, and creating meaningful work aligned with ecological and social values.
